COVID-19 Update

May 20, 2020

Our gym is currently closed under the Saskatchewan government regulations for COVID-19. We are part of Phase 4 of the re-opening plan and are hopeful that we will be back in September for the start of a new season. In the meantime, please visit our class page to see what program might be right for you when we can be back together!

About Ritmo

We offer a variety of rhythmic gymnastics classes for ages 3 and up.

Our passion for the sport drives us to provide a safe, fun, and goal-oriented atmosphere. We not only believe in the physical benefits of rhythmic gymnastics, but in the social benefits that our gymnastics community creates for everyone involved. We value honesty and open communication as we work with our gymnasts and their families to achieve success, in and outside of the gym.

What is rhythmic gymnastics?

Rhythmic Gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines various body elements (leaps, balances, and pivots) and apparatus manipulation (ball, hoop, ribbon, clubs, rope). Rhythmic gymnasts must train to be strong, flexible, and graceful during competition, which is an extremely difficult but rewarding combination!

“Ritmo” is Spanish for “Rhythm” which is essential to rhythmic gymnastics and reflects the Latin American background of our director, Dalena Juárez.
