Special Olympics Program
6+ years old
Our Special Olympics class is one of the highlights of our week! Our rhythmic gymnastics trained coaches lead the group through a general warm up, sport specific skills using hand apparatus (ball, hoop, ribbon, rope), and choreography to perform at our Showcases and competitions.
This program is flexible to each athlete, and our coaches and volunteers will work with all participants to help them reach their training and/or performance goals. Competition routines follow the International Code of Points and the Special Olympics official rules and regulations for rhythmic gymnastics. Possible competition opportunities include club invitationals in Saskatoon and Regina, Gymnastics Provincial Championships in Saskatchewan, and various other Special Olympics sanctioned events in the province and country.
